Genesis

Hi, this is my first post. Just a quick one to test out the ins and outs.
Currently sat at my desk in the early hours getting to grips with programs on my new Macbook.
A new world of computing opportunities has been opened and I look forward to finding out what I can do and sharing them with you.

I feel like I should tell you who I am. My name is Ross and I'm a British student currently studying Computer Science at Swansea University. I'm very happy with my life, although the direction it's going isn't decided just yet.

I'm very much in love with my long term girlfriend, Jess. So, where as I may not know the direction my life is going in as of yet, I know what company I'll be keeping.

Let me give you a basic idea of what this blog will be for:

  • It will be a place for me to share with any of the interested, what I'm doing.
  • It will allow me broadcast my opinion (which I will always keep my own) on topics in news.
  • It will allow me to share with you any projects that I get stuck into.

It would seem disrespectful for me to not mention the devastation of livelihoods and infrastructures in Japan as a result of Friday's Earthquake. It makes stupid trivial issues completely obsolete and really puts things into perspective. It also shows the untameable power of nature.

It goes without saying, I wish all the best to the Japanese people and hope they pull through.

Anyway, that's it for now. As I write this, I have no follows, lets hope that changes.
All the best, Ross.
